Buffalo News RSS feeds
How do I use these feeds?
Our RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds provide an easy way for you to be alerted when The Buffalo News publishes new content. Many browsers now come with built-in news readers. Each browser handles RSS feeds a little differently. Typically an icon (
or
) will appear in or near the browser’s address bar. Clicking the icon will allow you to subscribe to that page’s feed.
You can also use an online news reader such as MyYahoo. Clicking one of the MyYahoo buttons to the left will automatically add that news feed to your MyYahoo page. Firefox allows you to add feeds to some of these services automatically. To do so, use Firefox’s Tools -> Options -> Feeds menu.
Lastly, you can use news reader or aggregator software that displays RSS content feeds from websites that you select. These programs are specifically made to display RSS feeds and nothing else. There are many different news readers available, many of which are free. To find news readers to download try searching the web at Yahoo.com.
I publish a non-commercial website or blog. Can I use Buffalonews.com’s RSS feeds?
Yes, these RSS feeds are available for non-commercial purposes and can be used without the written consent of The Buffalo News.
