A Day in October
The unveiling of a brand new day
As the dawn dispels the
misty gray
And October’s blue sky slowly comes into view,
As white, cotton-like clouds enhance the scene, too.
The bright sun slowly awakens the serene and sleeping town,
As the day comes to life and leaves have turned red and golden brown.
Crisp fall air and gentle breezes fill the morn,
As once again we are reborn.
Anticipation fills one with wonder and hope, Giving us the courage to embrace the day and strength to cope.
