CHEZ NOUS—Nacel Open Door, a student exchange program, has a group of students from France arriving here Thursday and needs a few host families to share their homes for three weeks. GREEK GALORE—If you love Buffalo’s annual Greek Festival, then get ready for an even bigger Greek Festival this weekend as Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 4376 West Lake Road, Erie, Pa., holds its 21st annual Panegyri. The festival features a la carte Greek meals indoors and snacks such as Greek hot dogs and fries outside, live music and Greek folk dance groups, plus a display of iconography and tours of the internationally acclaimed church. Admission to the three-day event is free.
“Our festival has become so popular that patrons of the Erie Times-News have voted our festival as one of the top two celebrations in the tri-state area,” says organizer Sallie Capotis. For information, call (814) 838-8808 or visit www.erieorthodox.org.

LOST AND FOUND—A few spaces still are open in Forgotten Buffalo’s next tour—“A Clinton Affair: Kaisertown and Beyond”—which kicks off at 5 p. m. Saturday. Led by urban explorers Maxwell Truth, host of Off Beat Cinema, and local historian Marty Biniasz, it originally was going to be a tour of Kaisertown only, but “there were a couple joints on both sides of Kaisertown that we thought were worth a visit,” Truth reports.

The 27th annual St. Boniface-Fruit Belt reunion of students, teachers, parish priests and present and former parishioners is set for Aug. 5 in Protocol restaurant, 6766 Transit Road, Amherst.
