Winter Winter is getting worse every year.
The wind chill is making me blue.
I wish that jet would stop streaming
And the Arctic would keep its air, too.
The lake has a bad effect on my mood
And the Doppler is making me weary.
The weatherman cackles with merriment
As the oncoming storm makes him cheery.
I think that the bears have the answer
To this cold weather irritation.
Like me, they acquire more layers of fat
To prepare for their hibernation.
