We should get creative with One Seneca Tower
We have retirement centers where just about all needs are met for the elderly. Has anyone ever thought to use the same idea for double-income couples with no kids or singles looking for downtown secure living space like condos and apartments with all the amenities? These units could be purchased or rented and offer one to three meals a day, and laundry and cleaning services at additional reasonable fees if desired.
One Seneca Tower is an example. A restaurant on the first floor could be open to the public, along with shops, doctor’s offices, attorney’s offices or others to help with building maintenance cost.
If you want to bring Buffalo back to life, think about something new and exciting for our young adults. There are downtown establishments, parking already in place, public transportation and most things within walking distance. It could be done.
