Superintendent needs to be removed quickly
I am thoroughly disgusted with the administration of the Buffalo Public Schools. When the superintendent is unable to make sure that her assistants have the proper certification, it is beyond time for her to resign. One wonders whether she was in fact aware, but chose to ignore the situation in order to place her close friends in desirable, high-paying positions.
My deceased husband and I both taught at a number of Buffalo high schools. I am saddened and dismayed by their current condition and worried about the lack of education available to our city’s youth.
I hope that the board will immediately relieve Pamela Brown of her duties and replace her with someone whose staff does not reek of nepotism.
