Pegula has earned the right to own the Buffalo Bills
Shame on the NFL and Morgan Stanley!
Both set a deadline to fill the ownership vacancy for the Buffalo Bills and then they extended the deadline to create a bidding war to set precedence for the next time an NFL team is up for sale.
There is a perfectly viable potential owner in Terry Pegula, who should be awarded the team because of his commitment to Buffalo and Western New York. He may have also produced the highest bid. A team that is worth around $750 million will in fact go for around $1.3 billion.
The NFL and Morgan Stanley have made a mockery of this situation. I hope this process doesn’t backfire on them so that they find themselves getting hauled to court.
