Oust Brown, let state run Buffalo’s schools

A recent News story revealed that only 7.5 percent of the Buffalo School District’s budget comes from the city. This indicates to me that there are warped priorities among city decision makers.

Education has been a very prominent issue recently. Debate rages over whether the city’s current school superintendent is in over her head. This is a distinct possibility. The schools need direction, and that can be provided by the state. A state takeover is necessary to achieve progress in the schools to handle the challenges of the 21st century. The sooner the better for Buffalo Public Schools.
