Non-lethal means not possible in some instances

In response to recent contributions from writers who want to know why police can’t use non-lethal means upon confrontations, what the public still forgets is that as police officers we are trained to shoot center of a body. Not in the leg or arm like most people have asked me over my 20 years on the job.

Don’t forget that the officers were looking for a possible armed suspect.
