It’s wonderful to see prisoner of war freed

I am a survivor of the 1950 Chosin Reservoir battle in Korea (U.S. Marine Corps).

I don’t know how Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl was captured by the Taliban in Afghanistan. In the long run, it doesn’t matter.

The poor guy spent five years as a prisoner of war. Five years! Just to know that he is free now is good enough for me. It’s depressing to hear Congress arguing that he may have been a deserter or traitor. The mental stress and disillusionment of the no-win Afghanistan situation would be enough to crack anyone’s mind.

If there is another soldier taken prisoner, God forbid, then let’s exchange Congress for him.
