Get priorities in order regarding Buffalo Bills
Where are our priorities? It’s exciting news to read of the possible continued existence of our beloved Buffalo Bills in Buffalo, but the idea of building a new stadium muddies the mind. I am a devoted Bills fan, having attended the games since George Ratterman was our quarterback way back in the time of the “old team.”
My concern relates to the millions of dollars to be spent on a new stadium. And what do you do with the old one in Orchard Park? We see figures on the number of hungry mouths in our community – and certainly the rest of the world. I am aware of the fact that budgets have impregnable borders, but isn’t there some way that at least a part of those millions for construction (including filling many pseudo builders’ pockets) can be transferred to help feed those thousands of hungry mouths?
Should a new stadium be built, I hope that all the proponents will be injected with an everlasting feeling of guilt.
