Blame those who hired inept superintendents
Now that we’ve had another School Board election, it seems likely that Superintendent Pamela Brown will be fired. That makes two in a row. In both cases, an awful lot of money will have been spent just to make these people leave: $337,000, to be precise.
Perhaps instead of blaming these two superintendents for their admittedly poor performance, we should lay the blame with the people who hired them and approved the contracts that were so generous with severance pay. I wish someone would pay me practically a quarter of a million dollars to walk away from a job.
