Crowd cheered Obama because he inspires hope
In response to killjoy attitudes by talk radio enthusiasts who decry President Obama’s recent visit to the University at Buffalo, I was among those 7,200 students and adults listening and cheering his encouraging plan to make college more affordable for middle-class families.
What sickens me is the tea party bloc, which continues to hinder Obama’s efforts for job growth. It is, in fact, Wall Street banks and huge multinational corporations lobbying House of Representatives congressional obstructionists that guarantee big companies flourish economically while middle-class jobs and incomes stagnate or barely crawl.
Obama does not dash hope; he inspires hope! That is why we cheered.
