Adding a PR position won’t help city schools
All I can say is, holy cow! Now, in the interest of full disclosure, I am not a resident of the City of Buffalo. Henceforth, I don’t pay school taxes in the city. But I firmly believe that what happens in Buffalo impacts everyone in the metro area to some extent. Having thusly justified this rant, I’ll continue.
I am no expert in the field of education, but if the Buffalo School Board thinks that adding another layer of administration by hiring a public relations person at a salary of $115,000 per year is the answer to the school system’s woes, then I think that the inmates have truly taken over the asylum. Where is the common sense?
