Legislators are too busy playing party politics
“We The People,” those words have been made a mockery of by the politicians of today. They, and I mean the politicians, have taken an oath to work for all the people, not the party that they are a part of. It really doesn’t matter whether it is local, state or federal; the divisiveness of party politics and the leadership of those parties have blurred the words “We The People.”
Oh sure, all the politicians run based of some basic party principles, but they are supposed to represent “We The People” in the end, but they don’t. The most recent poor example of our lack of representation in New York State is only hurting “We The People” and I for one am dis-gusted with both parties. Maybe they need to go back to school and read the Constitution to get a better understanding of their roles when they get elected.
“We The People” demand that our representative think first of us and not of themselves.
