Let’s not forget Kryzan is also running in race
I was pleasantly surprised to read the Aug. 8 editorial, “Candidates reveal flaws,” where The News calls out Jack Davis and Jon Powers for their lack of judgment in the race to represent New York’s 26th District in Congress. I’m glad someone finally noticed.
As a veteran and former local elected official, I believe voters deserve a certain level of honesty and integrity from those seeking to hold public office, and it’s clear we won’t find it in these two candidates. However, I fear the editorial may have left readers thinking this is a two-way primary race when it is not.
There is a real choice for Democrats on Sept. 9 and her name is Alice Kryzan. She will help bring good-paying green-collar jobs to the area, fight for affordable health care for all and work to bring our troops home.
Kryzan, rightly, had no place in that editorial because she has the very things her opponents lack — good judgment, a true passion to serve and the kind of experience to solve the tough problems facing Western New York and the country.
