Two enter guilty pleas in cross burning
WHITE PLAINS (AP) — Two 20-year-old white men who burned a cross on a black family’s lawn in the New York suburbs have pleaded guilty to a hate crime.
Christopher Hudak of Cortlandt and Ryan Martin of Montrose set fire to a 4-foot-high cross Nov. 21 outside the Cortlandt residence.
They face a maximum of seven years in prison at their Oct. 28 sentencing.
