Folk Music Festival set Aug. 8, 9 and 10
BRADFORD, Pa. — Reservations will end Sunday for participants in the fifth annual Heart of the Alleghenies Folk Music Festival on Aug. 8, 9 and 10 at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.
The three-day festival will feature instrumental and song workshops, contra and square dance, foot percussion and more.
Featured artist Dan Duggan on the hammered dulcimer, along with Henry Jankiewicz and Tom Hodgson, will headline a Saturday evening concert. Jam sessions and late-night dances also are on tap. To register, visit www.hotafest.org or call Lucinda Durkee at 244-3081.
