WEDNESDAY, 7p.m.: Reading and book signing by Greg Gerke, author of “There’s Something Wrong With Sven” (BlazeVox Books). Talking Leaves Books, 3158 Main St.

WEDNESDAY, 7:30 p.m.: Just Buffalo Center for Inquiry Literary Cafe featuring poets Loren Keller, Carie Gardner and Jane Sadowsky. 1310 Sweet Home Road, Amherst.

THURSDAY, 7p.m.: Reading and book signing featuring Marc Pietrzykowski, Niagara County Community College professor and author of two collections of poems, including the recently published “The Logic of Clouds” (BlazeVox Books). Joining him will be NCCC colleague Mary Roseberry, who will read from “Vagrant Spirits: Taking History Back,” her nonfiction manuscript that employs memoir, personal essay and research narrative to trace the experience of several Jewish exiles who escaped Nazi Germany and Austria, and others who did not escape. THURSDAY, 7p.m.:The Write Thing Series reading by poet and editor Ravi Shankar, associate professor and poet-in-residence at Central Connecticut State University, author of “Instrumentality” (Cherry Grove Press) and the founder of the international online journal “Drunken Boat.” The Library at Huber Hall, Medaille College, 18 Agassiz Circle.
