Re-Tree WNY is organizing a bare-root tree-planting training session for suburban volunteers at 1 p. m. Saturday at the Park School, 4625 Harlem Road, Snyder. Amherst Garden Club will meet at 9:30 a. m. Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Church, 6540 Main St., Amherst. Ellen De- Wind will instruct members on cleaning and preserving fabrics without chemicals. Newcomers welcome.

Jeanette Williams of the Buffalo&Erie County Botanical Gardens will present a program on pollination. Business meeting to follow.
