Youngstown Garden Club will present a perennial sale from 9:30 a. m. to noon (or until sold out) Saturday at the Gazebo, Main Street in Youngstown, featuring member-donated plants and decorative items, including cement leaves.
At 7 p. m. Wednesday, the club will welcome bee expert Geri Hens, of Hens Honey Bee Farm, for a talk on “The Not So Secret Life of Bees,” at the First Presbyterian Church, 100 Church St., Youngstown. The meeting is open to visitors and new members.

As part of the Weekend on the Niagara Craft Show, the Garden Club of the Tonawandas will hold its member-grown perennial sale from 10 a. m. to 5 p. m. Saturday at Niawanda Park, Niagara Street, City of Tonawanda. Members will be on hand to answer questions.

The Western New York Iris Society will hold its annual iris show from 1 to 5 p. m. Saturday at the Eastern Hills Mall, 4545 Transit Road, Williamsville. The show will include design and horticulture exhibits. For membership in the society or more information, call 836-2573.

East Aurora Garden Club will meet at noon Monday at St. Matthias Episcopal Church, 374 Main St., East Aurora. Following lunch and a business meeting, Ken Brown, owner of Field of Dreams Farms, will present a lecture and slide show.

Cheektowaga Garden Club member Dave Swanka, also of the Western New York Rose Society, will present “Everything You Wanted To Know About Growing Roses” at 7 p. m. Monday at the Cleveland Hill High School faculty cafeteria, Mapleview Road. Rose slips will be shared. New members welcome.

Kenmore Garden Club will meet at 10 a. m. Tuesday at the Kenmore United Methodist Church, 32 Landers Road, Kenmore. Kevin Tremblett will discuss the different kinds of mulch and compost available from the Amherst Compost Facility. Guests welcome.
