Delaware Park Fitness Camp, a group exercise program for those ages 18 and over, will be held at 12:30 p. m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays through Dec. 17 under the direction and supervision of certified personal trainers. Participants should bring comfortable workout clothes, sneakers, heart rate monitor (optional), sunscreen, towel and water bottle. The University at Buffalo’s Center for Children and Families is conducting a study for fathers of children with ADHD, ages 6 to 12 years, to determine whether a parenting program for fathers helps improve the functioning of those children. Once qualified, the family will receive additional psychological treatment or continue with the treatment and parenting strategies already being used. Psychological treatment includes parenting programs for the fathers and participation in structured soccer activities for the child. US Too!, a support group of prostate cancer survivors, has free speakers available for organizational meetings. The speakers provide current information on prostate cancer and stress the importance of being checked for the disease that affects one in six men in the United States. The National Kidney Foundation of WNY is offering free kidney early evaluation program screenings (KEEP) from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m. Saturday at New Testament Revival Cathedral, 987 Kensington Ave. The program is for those who have a parent, grandparent or sibling who has diabetes, high blood pressure or kidney disease.
