A 10-week program, “Walk to Wellness—Beginner’s Walking Program,” will begin at 9:30 a. m. Wednesday at the Schofield Adult Wellness Center, 3333 Elmwood Ave., Kenmore. “Take Control of Kidney Disease Through Knowledge,” a chronic kidney disease management class for those in the early stages of kidney disease, will be held at 5 p. m. next Tuesday in the National Kidney Foundation office, 300 Delaware Ave., Suite 101. The $35 cost is covered for most members of the major health insurance carriers. Scholarships are available. For information or to register, call 835-1323.
