Mr. and Mrs. Richard D. Kowalski of Orchard Park celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends in the Iron Workers Hall, West Seneca. Renewal of marriage vows took place in February at their winter residence in Sarasota, Fla. Mr. Kowalski and Rose Marie V. Polinski were married Oct. 24, 1959, in Precious Blood Catholic Church, Buffalo. He is a musician and former band leader of the Hi-Lites, taught accordion for the Art Kubera Music Store and retired from General Motors as a millwright; she is a retired school bus driver for Orchard Park Central Schools. The couple has three children and four grandchildren.
