East Aurora Garden Club will meet at noon Monday at St. Matthias Episcopal Church, 374 Main St., East Aurora. Following lunch and a business meeting, Sue Charles of the Niagara Frontier Orchid Society will present “Basic Orchid Growing.” Visitors welcome. Call 655-1482.

Cheektowaga Garden Club will meet at 7 p. m. Monday in the Cleveland Hill High School faculty lunch room, Mapleview Road, Cheektowaga. The theme is “Sharing Garden Tips.” A Valentine party will follow. New members welcome.

Smallwood Garden Club will meet at 7 p. m. Monday at Forest Elementary School, 250 N. Forest Road, Amherst, for its annual meeting and election of officers. Master Gardener Joe Manuel will discuss growing plants from seeds.

Kenmore Garden Club will meet at 10 a. m. Tuesday at Kenmore United Methodist Church, 32 Landers Road, Kenmore. Paul Fehringer, from Beaver Meadow Nature Center, will discuss ferns and other flora natural to our environment. Guests welcome.

East Park Garden Club will meet at 6:30 p. m. Tuesday at 1285 W. River Parkway, Grand Island, for a potluck dinner. Members will bring a place setting and dish to pass. For information, call 773-9518.

Evans Garden Club will hold a pressed flower-arranging workshop at 7 p. m. Tuesday at the Angola Public Library, 34 N. Main St., Angola.

Eden Garden Club will meet at 7 p. m. Tuesday at Eden Junior Senior High School, 3150 Schoolview Road, Eden. Sharon Brockman, Cheryl Colvin and Nancy Mantione will present a demonstration and workshop, “Topiaries Three Ways: Ivy, Moss and Silks.” For information, call Mantione at 992-3551.

Ken-Sheriton Garden Club will meet at 7:30 p. m. Tuesday for a Valentine’s Day workshop at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 576 Delaware Road, Kenmore. Business meeting to follow.

Niagara Frontier Botanical Society will meet at 7:30 p. m. Tuesday at the Harlem Road Community Center, 4255 Harlem Road, Amherst. Sally Cunningham will present “Welcoming Nature, Changing the Paradigm.” Public welcome.

Countryside Garden Club of Elma will meet at 10 a. m. Wednesday at the home of Rita Ippolito for its Valentine potluck luncheon and pound auction. New members welcome; call 652-7875.

Federated Amana Garden Club will meet at 11 a. m. Wednesday at Covenant United Methodist Church, 539 Main St., West Seneca. Design workshop instructor Bev Walsh will present “Fun with Flowers.” New members welcome.

Hamburg Garden Club will meet at noon Wednesday at the Hamburg Community Center, 107 Prospect Ave., Village of Hamburg, for a Valentine/membership luncheon. Garden Friends of Clarence will meet at 7 p. m. Wednesday at the Clarence Town Park Clubhouse, 10405 Main St. Following the regular meeting, Master Gardener Sharon Barker will present “Perennial Favorites.” Public welcome.

Youngstown Garden Club will meet at 7 p. m. Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church, 100 Church St., Youngstown. Member Michelle Vanstrom will lead a winter seed-sowing workshop, followed by a fundraiser for the World Gardening program. Visitors, new members welcome.

Alden Garden Club will meet at 7 p. m. Wednesday at the Alden Community Center, 13116 Main St. Dorothy Julius will present “Nature’s Reflections: Bringing Nature Indoors Through Crafts.” Guests, new members welcome. For information, call 937-7055.

Federated Lancaster Garden Club will hold its “Welcome Back” meeting at 7 p. m. Wednesday at the Elks Club, 33 Legion Parkway, Lancaster. A “Giving Back Community Service Project” will include a hands-on workshop.

Cinderella Isle Garden Club will hold its second annual plant and craft sale from 11 a. m. to 4 p. m. next Friday and 10 a. m. to 3 p. m. Feb. 13. The sale will take place at the Grand Island Memorial Library, 1715 Bedell Road, Grand Island. For information, call Adele Upton, 773-5847.
