A plant swap and sale will take place from 11 a. m. to 1 p. m. Sunday at the Holland Farmers’ Market, Route 16, Holland.
Smallwood Garden Club will meet at 7 p. m. Monday at Forest Elementary School, 250
N. Forest Road, Williamsville. Takako Michii, former president of the Ikebana International Buffalo Chapter 50, will demonstrate flower-arranging in the style of the Ichiyo School of Ikebana.
Amherst Garden Club will meet at 9:30 a. m. Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Church, 6540 Main St., Williamsville. Martha Johnson will present new techniques on drying and displaying flowers. Newcomers welcome.
Town of Wheatfield Garden Club will meet at 7 p. m. Wednesday at the Wheatfield Community Center on Church Road. Staff members from Cornell Cooperative Extension in Lockport will present “Winterizing Your Garden.” Visitors welcome.
8th District FGCNYS will hold a fundraiser at 7 p. m. Thursday at Main Transit Fire Hall, 6777 Main St., Williamsville. Tracy Gaus, of Herbly Wonderful, will present a program. Basket raffle tickets, $8, available at the door. For information, call Rita Ippolito at 652-7875.
