Western New York Unit 116 hosts a Wine and Cheese Party at 6 p.m. this evening, Saturday, Nov. 19, in the Bridge Center of Buffalo. Cost is $10 for ACBL members, $11 for non-members.

The Airport Bridge Club holds a double-session triple-point Swiss team game with free pizza from 11 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20. Registration ends today with partners and pairs available. Call 603-6943.
The club has double point games at 11 a.m. and 7:15 p.m. Monday. To accommodate turkey dinner plans, the club moves its Thursday game up to 10 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

Congratulations again to Christine Urbanek. The top ranked Unit 116 player in the Buffalo Spooktacular Regional Tournament on Grand Island a month ago was also the unit's leader in last week's Niagara Falls, Ont., Regional Tournament. With 36.61 master points, she was 17th overall. Other doing well -- Saleh Fetouh (28.45, 24th), Chongmin Zhang (22.13, 38th), Bert Feasley (18.90, 56th), Jay Levy (18.57, 58th), John Sinclair (16.54, 69th) and Mike Silverman and Helen Panza (14.63, tied for 95th).

Dale Anderson scored a Life Master hat trick at last week's Niagara Falls, Ont., Regional Tournament, achieving Life Master, Bronze Life Master and Silver Life Master status as a member of the winning team in the B division of the Whirlpool Knock-0uts.
