The Abigail Fillmore Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet Friday at the Buffalo Historical Society, 25 Nottingham Court, for a meeting and guided tour on American Heritage and Conservation.

Variety Club Women of Tent 7 will have a Thanksgiving luncheon at 11:30 a. m. Saturday in the American Legion Post 35, West Seneca. Food drive donations will go to St. Luke’s Mission. The club has elected officers for 2010: president, Kathy Kaminski; first vice president, Elizabeth Kuciel; second vice president, Diane Kuciel; correspondence secretary, Chris Semrau; treasurer, Charlean Willard; recording secretary, Deborah Mondo; and financial secretary, Maria Lagona. Elected to the two-year terms on the board of directors were: Sue Bolger, Mary Sabota, Jenet Dressler, Marcia Bernes, Sandy Payton, Gloria Duman, Pat Neuland, Lynn Klein, Mary Mangano, Mary Wren, Geri Maraschiello and Diane Dombrowski.
Williams Mills Chapter and Katharine Pratt Horton Buffalo Chapter of National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, will meet at 2 p. m. Saturday in the Chapter House, 477 Delaware Ave., for the annual DAR Good Citizen Awards meeting.
Gretchen Zollendeck and Sally Heim are chairwomen of the awards contest. Ann Jones and Barbara Luffred will be hostesses. The DAR good citizens and scholarship program is open to seniors in accredited public and private secondary schools.
