Katharine Pratt Horton Buffalo Chapter of National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, will have its fall fundraiser from 1 to 4 p. m. Nov. 7 in the Chapter House. Sandra Ziemer, an estate liquidator, will present “An Informative Talk on Antiques and Collectibles.” Attendees may bring one antique item or collectible (or photo, if too large) for appraisal. Afternoon tea will be served.

The cost is $20 per person. For reservations, phone Marcia Hutt 832-8197 before Nov. 1.

Wednesday Morning Musicale will have a luncheon meeting at 10:45 a. m. Nov. 11 at North Presbyterian Church, Williamsville. Luncheon hostess Marlene Badger will be assisted by Laura Martin and Susie Myers. The musical program will be presented by pianists Anne Moot and Judith Burritt, violists Diane Wiliams, Leslie Bahler and Judith Hirsch. Also on the program are Barbara Cordero, cello; Bettyalice Riehle, piano; and Marlene Harrington, organ.

The Retired Men’s Service Club Chorus will present a sentimental musical program when the Beechwood Service Guild meets at 10:30 a. m. Wednesday in the auditorium of Beechwood Residence. Coffee and snacks are available at 10 a. m. All church representatives and friends are welcome.

Romulus Women’s Club will meet at 6:30 p. m. on Nov. 5 in Green Acres School, Suite 122, 205 Yorkshire Drive, Tonawanda. Members will package cookies to send to service members overseas. Francine Conti is chairwoman.

Buffalo Alumnae Chapter of Alpha Sigma Alpha National Sorority will celebrate Founder’s Day at luncheon at 11:30 a. m. Nov. 7 in the Buffalo Club. Donette Thurlow and Jackie LoRuso are co-chairwomen for the event.

Attendees are asked to bring an item from home to donate to the silent auction. Proceeds of the auction will be donated to one of the sorority’s charities.

Beechwood Service Guild will hold a Christmas tea and mini-bazaar meeting from 2 to 3:30 p. m. Dec. 2 in the residence auditorium. Trinity United Methodist Women will host. A free-will offering will benefit the Beechwood Recreational Program.

Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site will celebrate the holiday season in its renovated Wilcox Mansion and new carriage house.

“Victorian Christmas ” celebrations planned include:

Dec. 3, from 6 to 8:30 p. m.: Opening night: Wine tasting and silent auction, including premium wines, hors d’oeuvres, auction items, theme baskets, and entertainment by Babik, a local gypsy jazz band. Cost is $30 for members, $35 for nonmembers presale; $40 at the door.

Dec. 7, 10 and 11: Candlelight dinners and musical entertainment. The champagne reception begins at 5:30 p. m., and dinner starts at 6. On Dec. 11, there will be a Victorian Tea Room Supper and vintage fashion show. Tickets are $45.

Dec. 11, 10:30 a. m.: Classic holiday concert by the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, at Kleinhans Music Hall, followed by lunch at 1 p. m. at the TR site, $40.

Dec. 8: Gourmet Wine and Food Pairing Dinner, 5:30 p. m., featuring champagne, holiday boutiques, dinner and entertainment by Mark Mazur Quartet, $55.

Luncheons, with entertainment, will be held at 11:30 a. m. Dec. 7, 8, 9 and 10. The cost is $25.
