Virginia Wettlaufer and Walter Scott Tomenson III were married by Judge Donna Siwek in a civil ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents on Nov. 11. A religious ceremony was held at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 16 in St. Christopher’s Church, Lyford Cay, Nassau, Bahamas, where a reception was held following the ceremony. Venerable Keith Cartwright, Angelican minister of Lyford Cay, heard the couple’s vows. The bride’s parents are C. Penn Wettlaufer of Buffalo and Catherine T. Wettlaufer and Arthur Bronson of Buffalo. The bridegroom’s parents are Walter S. Jr. and Leslie A. Tomenson of New York. The bride, a graduate of Nichols School, earned a bachelor’s degree in management from Tulane University. The bride is a director of retail development at Harry Winston Inc. The groom is a graduate of Deerfield Academy. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. The groom is an executive director at Crystal & Co. After a trip to Maldives, the couple will make their home in New York City.
