Shannon Nolan and Jonathan Sommer were married at 2 p.m. May 10 in Blessed Sacrament Church, Buffalo. Guests gathered for a reception at Tonawanda Castle. The Rev. Bill Quinlivan, of Blessed Sacrament Church, heard the couple’s vows. The bride’s parents are William M. and Luann Nolan of Buffalo. The bridegroom’s parents are Richard P. Sommer of Buffalo and the late Gail Sommer. The bride is a graduate of Kenmore East High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in math from St. John Fisher College. She is an underwriter at Lawley Benefits Group. The groom is a graduate of Kenmore West High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from SUNY Geneseo. He is a benefits service coordinator at Walsh Duffield. After a trip to Jamaica, the couple will make their home in Tonawanda.
