Rachel A. Armentrout and Lt. Derek J. Davies were married at 4 p.m. April 5 in Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Building of Colonial Williamsburg, Williamsburg, Va., where a reception was held following the ceremony. The Rev. Jerry K. Shields, of the U.S. Navy Chaplain Corps, Portsmouth, Va., heard the couple’s vows. The bride’s parents are the late Richard L. and Linda M. Armentrout of Keyser, W.Va. The bridegroom’s parents are John R. and Judith P. Davies of Elma. The bride is a graduate of Keyser High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in public health from Johns Hopkins University and also earned a doctorate of medicine from Case Western Reserve University. The bride is a neonatologist at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters and Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, Va. The groom is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute. He earned a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University and also earned a doctorate of medicine from Albany Medical College. The groom is an emergency medicine resident at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. The couple will make their home in Virginia Beach, Va.
