Melanie I. Crawley and Brian P. Kayser were married at 5 p.m. Oct. 4 in Most Pure Heart of Mary Church, Topeka, Kan. Guests gathered for a reception at Ramada West in Topeka. The Rev. Nick Blaha of Most Pure Heart of Mary Church heard the couple’s vows. The bride’s parents are Kevin and Peggy Crawley of Tonawanda. The bridegroom’s parents are Clarence and Sandy Kayser of Americus, Kan., and Elizabeth Kayser of Round Rock, Texas. The bride is a graduate of Kenmore West. She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in special education from SUNY Buffalo State. The bride is a first-grade teacher. The groom is a graduate of Northern Heights High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Emporia State University. The groom is an application developer with the Kansas Fire Marshal. The couple will make their home in Topeka.
