Megan P. Fitzgerald and Joseph F. Hassenfratz III were married at 2 p.m. Sept. 14 in Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Clarence. Guests gathered for a reception at Pearl Street Grill & Brewery. Monsignor Frederick D. Leising of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church heard the couple’s vows. The bride’s parents are Michael P. Fitzgerald of Derby and Patricia A. Malinowski of Nashville, Tenn. The bridegroom’s parents are Joseph F. and Martha M. Hassenfratz of Williamsville. The bride is a graduate of Immaculata Academy. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Medaille College. The bride is a coordinator of alumni relations at Medaille College. The groom is a graduate of Williamsville East High School. He earned bachelor’s degrees in history and anthropology from SUNY Brockport. The groom is a branch manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. After a trip to Costa Rica, the couple will make their home in Depew.
