Lauren R. Jemiolo and Eduard A. Shamkhalov were married at 1 p.m. Aug. 17 in Unitarian Universalist Church of Buffalo. Guests gathered for a reception at Samuel’s Grande Manor, Clarence. The Rev. Donald Reidell of Unitarian Universalist Church heard the couple’s vows. The bride’s parents are Holly S. and George M. Jemiolo of Williamsville. The bridegroom’s parents are Rena Akopova and Aleksandr Shamkhalov of North Tonawanda. The bride is a graduate of Williamsville South High School. She earned an associate degree in veterinary technology and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Medaille College. The bride is a licensed veterinary technician at Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center. The groom is a graduate of North Tonawanda High School. He earned an associate degree in culinary arts from Niagara County Community College, He is a cook at Sheridan Family Restaurant. After a trip to Hawaii, the couple will make their home in Lancaster.
