Jillian A. Strozewski and Christopher A. Karczewski were married at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 5 in St. Martha Catholic Parish, Depew. Guests gathered for a reception at Samuel’s Grande Manor, Clarence. The Rev. Bart W. Lipiec, of St. Martha Parish, heard the couple’s vows. The bride’s parents are Christopher P. and Margaret A. Strozewski of Depew. The bridegroom’s parents are Elizabeth A. and the late Dennis J. Karczewski of Buffalo. The bride is a graduate of Maryvale High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and sociology from the University at Buffalo and also earned a master’s degree in criminal justice from SUNY Buffalo State. The bride is a paralegal at Goldberg Segalla LLP. The groom is a graduate of St. Francis High School in Athol Springs. He earned an associate degree in business management from Erie Community College. The groom is a utility worker at National Grid. After a trip to Barbados, the couple will make their home in Wheatfield.
