Jenna E. Coons and Sean Q. McDonnell were married at 2 p.m. Aug. 24 in Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, North Tonawanda. Guests gathered for a reception at Samuel’s Grande Manor, Clarence. The Rev. Marja Coons-Torn of United Church of Christ, Harrisburg, Pa., heard the couple’s vows. The bride’s parents are William R. and Marilyn J. Coons of North Tonawanda. The bridegroom’s parents are Peter H. and Suzanne B. McDonnell of East Aurora. The bride is a graduate of North Tonawanda High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Niagara University and also earned a juris doctor from George Mason University School of Law. The bride works at Gibson, McAskill & Crosby, LLP. The groom is a graduate of East Aurora High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Niagara University and also earned a master’s degree in literacy from the University at Buffalo. The groom is a teacher at Newfane Central School District. After a trip to Bermuda, the couple will make their home in North Tonawanda.
