The Longest Day: Pole Position Raceway, and electric kart chain, will partner with the Alzheimer’s Association, Western New York Chapter, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. next Saturday to raise awareness and funds for the association at the Walden Galleria in Cheektowaga. The company encourages people to purchase individual races via the Longest Day link at act.alz.org, where all proceeds from each individual race (or $28) will go directly to the association’s Longest Day fundraising effort. Donations also will be possible for those who show up in the mall’s Pole Position store to race.
