West Valley man charged with aggravated DWI

A West Valley man allegedly found slumped over the wheel of his vehicle Sunday on East Main Street in Springville was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, Erie County sheriff’s officials reported.
Police say that Paul J. Bentkowski, 51, submitted to a breath test that revealed he had a 0.19 percent blood alcohol level, about 2z time 1/3 the legal limit.
Bentkowski was released to a third party pending an appearance in Springville Village Court.
