NIAGARA FALLS—Police said they charged a Falls Street man with felony drunken driving after stopping his car at Walnut Avenue and Tronolone Place early Saturday.

Officers said Demian P. Hernandez, 21, was driving 50 mph in a 30 mph zone when he was pulled over shortly after 2 a. m.

Hernandez was charged with felony counts of first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and driving while intoxicated. Hernandez, police said, was convicted of DWI on March 6, 2007. He also was also charged with speeding and consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle.
