Bicentennial Group to discuss celebration

NORTH TONAWANDA—The North Tonawanda 1812 Bicentennial Group will hold an informational meeting at 7 p. m. Tuesday in the North Tonawanda History Museum, 54 Webster St.

The forum is entitled “Building Public Awareness: Cross-Border Celebration of 200 Years of Peace Between Our Borders.”

A panel of informed members of the 1812 Niagara Legacy Council, including executive director Vincent Del Buono; vice president Thomas E. Schofield; Binational Tourism Alliance director Arlene White; and Percy Abrams, cofounder of the Native American Museum of Art, will speak to the group. The meeting is open to the public.
