1. Get your game on this summer at the Central Wharf.

From 1 to 4 p. m. Fridays through July and August, Explore&More children’s museum is back with Friday Family Fun. This Friday, get patriotic and make a red, white and blue flutter ball. Free. Just look for the tent!

2. Quick! Grab $3 and head to the Paul Newman film festival.

Tonight at 7, “Cool Hand Luke” features the big and burly George Kennedy facing off against lean and mean Newman. Check out their shades, while you’re at it. Find the flick at Riviera Theatre, 67 Webster St., North Tonawanda.

3. Try your hand at textile art, for a change. “FUN-damentals of Fiber” launches Monday with a two-hour class in Twig People at Knox Farm State Park, 437 Buffalo Road, East Aurora. Learn how to bind and tie branches, twigs and sticks to create shapes in the form of people. Add a clay face and you’re good to go! A variety of fiber workshops will run for seven weeks from 9 to 11 a. m. for children ages 8 to 12. Each class is $10, or sign up for all for $50. Call 826-8895 to reserve your seat. Presented by New York State parks.

4.Walk this way, and you will learn a bunch about the Pan-American Exposition.

Meet at the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society Museum at 12:30 p. m. Sunday for a guided tour of the former expo grounds (weather permitting). $10 fee includes souvenir map. Call 873-9644 or visit www.buffalohistory.org.
