Sweet Home to name its new superintendent tonight

The Sweet Home Board of Education will decide whether to confirm its only superintendent candidate at its 7 p.m. meeting today.
The board will vote on whether Anthony J. Day, assistant superintendent for instruction, gets confirmed as the district's new superintendent to replace current superintendent Geoffrey M. Hicks, who will be leaivng to take the same post at the Arlington Central School District in Poughkeepskie.
Day served as a teacher, assistant principal and principal before serving in his current post.
