BAKE SALE: Goodiefest Bake Sale to benefit the Food Bank of WNY will be held beginning at 5 p. m. Saturday at the Erie Canal Harbor, Central Wharf. The bake sale is held in conjunction with Buffalo Place, Erie Canal Harbor Development Corp. and the City of Buffalo.

BUFFALO RIVER TOUR: Buffalo Niagara RiverKeeper will sponsor a tour of the Buffalo River from 10 a. m. to noon Sunday aboard the Miss Buffalo, 79 Marine Drive. The narrated tour will highlight the man-made features, ecologically significant shoreline and Buffalo’s past as a center of lake commerce and current efforts to clean our rivers. Cost is $20. ADOPT A CAT: Niagara Feline Friends will hold a cat adoption event from 1 to 5 p. m. Sunday at Petco, 1459 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst. The adoption fee is $70. All of the cats have been spayed or neutered and have had at least their first series of shots. All have been tested for feline leukemia and FIV.
