A West Seneca man died this evening after his motorcycle collided with another vehicle on the Thruway in West Seneca.

Dennis Radder, 29, was thrown from his machine and later pronounced dead in Mercy Hospital.

State police said Radder's motorcycle struck the rear of a vehicle operated by Antonio Manetta, 72, of West Seneca, at about 7:06 p.m. They said the motorcycle continued on after Radder was ejected and eventually struck a guardrail, bursting into flames. Mannetta was not injured in the accident, which remains under investigation.

The right two lanes on the westbound Thruway remained closed late into the evening.
