Updated: August 21, 2010, 5:06 AM
Emergency crews stood by as Comair Flight 6739 landed at 11:45 a. m. Sunday at Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
The pilot landed the jet, with 53 people on board, without incident after reporting a problem with the left engine anti-icing device, said Doug Hartmayer of the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority.
Hartmayer said the aircraft, a Bombardier CRJ-200, was en route to Buffalo from New York City.
