North Collins crash kills Lawtons man

A Lawtons man was killed today when his pickup truck collided with another pickup in North Collins.
Martin Schultz, 67, of Seneca Road, was traveling east on Shirley Road at about 11:25 a.m. when he passed through a stop sign at the intersection of Route 75 and was struck broadside by a pickup traveling north on Route 75.
The other driver, John Tomaka, 43, of Thiel Road, North Collins, had to be extricated from his vehicle before being flown by Mercy Flight to Erie County Medical Center. Tomaka was listed in critical condition.
The investigation is continuing.
