A Chautauqua County man pleaded guilty to felony charges of possession and attempted receipt of child pornography images, the U. S. Attorney’s office reported Friday.

Raymond Mason, 37, of Frewsburg pleaded guilty before U. S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara. He was investigated by the Postal Inspection Service, FBI and Ellicott Police Department, prosecutor Marie P. Grisanti said.

Mason admitted that he took photographs of a 6-year-old child and that he ordered child porn videos through the mail, Grisanti said. He faces a mandatory minimum sentence of five years and a maximum of 20 years.
