ALEXANDER—A 1-year-old Wyoming County boy was taken to the United Memorial Medical Center, Batavia, for precautionary evaluation after his mother apparently lost control of her car and collided with a truck Wednesday morning on Route 20 in Alexander, Genesee County sheriff’s officials said.

Police said Eileen M. Campbell, 40, of East Road, was traveling west on Route 20 at about 9:25 a. m., when her vehicle spun out of control before entering the eastbound lane and striking the eastbound truck, driven by Donald E. Patton, 67, of Willis, Texas. Campbell was treated in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester.
