LOCKPORT—Robert G. Minney Jr., 33, of Jerauld Avenue, Niagara Falls, pleaded guilty Wednesday in Niagara County Court to felony driving while intoxicated and a drug possession misdemeanor, settling two cases against him. Judge Sara Sheldon Sperrazza scheduled sentencing April 9.

Minney was arrested April 27 in the Town of Niagara for driving while intoxicated and cocaine possession after a citizen complaint about drugs in the parking lot of the former JT Wheatfield’s bar. Deputy District Attorney Theodore A. Brenner said 780 milligrams of cocaine were recovered.

On Oct. 15, Minney was charged with DWI following a chase that ended with a property-damage crash on Main Street in Niagara Falls.

In another case Wednesday, Glenn H. Quintern, 50, of Chestnut Ridge Road, Royalton, pleaded guilty to felony DWI, stemming from a July 10 arrest in the City of Lockport. Judge Matthew J. Murphy III set sentencing for March 24.
